Everything you need to know about Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung has just announced their most anticipated phones of the year the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus at a launch event in London and New York.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Let’s start with the smaller one the samsung Galaxy S8, the device has a 5.8inch Quad HD+ super amoled with infinity display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory expandable upto 256GB via micro SD card, 3,000mah battery, IP68 water and dust resistance and Android 7.0 out of the box.

Coming to the processor this phone is the first phone in the world to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and in the camera department the phone is having a 8mp front and 12mp rear camera.

Samsung Galaxy S8 plus

Samsung Galaxy S8 plus has a 6.2inch Quad HD+ super amoled with infinity display, 4GB of ram and 64GB of internal memory expandable upto 256GB via micro SD card, 3,500mah battery, IP68 water and dust resistance with android 7.0 out of the box.

Coming to the processor this phone just like the S8 is the world’s first phone (Besides the S8) to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and in the camera department this phone is also having a 12mp rear camera with 8mp front camera.

Price and availability

US

Both the phones will be available for pre-orders in the US from 12:01am ET on 30th march on Samsung’s official website.

Most of the Carrier’s are also offering pre-orders for both devices from 29th and 30th of march except sprint which will not allow you to pre-order the phones as of now.Although the shipping and in-store availability of the phones will start from 21st of April.

Canada

Both the devices will be available in Canada from 21st April but you can pre-order the devices between 29th march and 20th April.

Europe

In Europe both the devices will be available from 21st April but you can pre-order the phones between 29th march and 19th April.

Coming to the price of the devices the S8 will be available for $800 (Approx) and the S8+ for a price of $900 (Approx).

The most interesting thing is that these devices are coming with a headphone jack in them so no need to carry an adapter with you.
