Tesla model 3 was unveiled during march 2016 and is the company’s most affordable electric car yet. The company’s CEO Elon musk posted a photo of the first model 3 car on Twitter this Saturday.
The company is expecting to reach a production of 100 cars by August and above 1,500 by the end of September and then 20,000 cars each month from December.
The first one to get the model 3 car was Tesla’s board member Ira Ehrenpreis but apparently he gave the rights of the first model 3 car to musk as a present for his 46th birthday.
The lowest variant of the Tesla model 3 is available for a price of $35,000 with a reservation price of $1,000 on their official website.
