LG has officially announced the LG Q6 lineup. The Q6 lineup includes three new devices – LG Q6, LG Q6 plus, and LG Q6a. All of these devices are having a 18:9 ratio display similar to the what we have seen in the LG G6.
Coming to the specs all the devices are having a 5.5inch 18:9 ratio display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 and a pixel density of 442 ppi, and are running on a mid-range processor by Qualcomm the Snapdragon 435 chipset. Some other specs includes –
- LG Q6 – 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
- LG Q6 plus – 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
- LG Q6a – 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Coming to the camera all the three devices are having a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera along with a 3,000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, all of these devices are lacking the presence of a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of the design and the looks all the three are having the same design with metallic frames made of 7000 series aluminium on the sides, making them similar to the LG G6 in terms of the looks.
All three devices are running on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box and LG’s UX 6.0 on top of it.
Coming to the price and availability LG has not yet revealed the pricing of the three devices, but in terms of availability the company has confirmed that the LG Q6 will be available in Asia from August, then Europe, followed by Latin America and finally North America.
