Vedang Patel, Rohin Samtaney and Aditya Sharma the people behind the success of the souled store an online platform who gave thousands of online artists a platform not only to showcase as well as monetize their creativity.
The journey to establish their name in the e-commerce space started in the year 2013 when the three founders were working as financial analysts in the same firm being equally dissatisfied with their jobs they thought of doing something of their own rather than working for someone else.
The three founders started by putting an amount of Rs. 1.75 lakhs each of their personal savings to start their business. Their business started with an inventory of 200 t-shirts and running out of a single cabin.
The journey wasn’t easy the three faced many problems along the way some of those problems we’re discouragement by the family and the people around them, being in the corporate sector they also faced lack of Business ethics during their journey, etc.
But despite of these problems they managed to stay afloat and grow their business with an inventory of 200 t-shirts to an inventory of 20,000 t-shirts and running out of offices across Mumbai.
Not only this they also managed to partner with some of the famous music festivals, Artist management agencies, as well as many famous music bands such as pentagram, etc.
They are also planning to have over 1000 artists from around the world by 2017 along with international shipping and plans to open stores across India to increase their Brand presence.
The souled store has not only become an online platform for artists to monetize their creativity, but has also became the one and only destination for today’s youth due to their funky designs, innovate and exclusive products.
