Verizon Galaxy S8 and S8 plus are getting Daydream support

The latest software update to Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus brings the Daydream VR support to the S8 and S8 plus.

At Google I/O this past may Google’s VR/AR division Head Clay Bavor announced that the Daydream VR support will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus via a software update during this summer.

The Verizon’s Galaxy S8 and S8 plus will be the first Samsung phones to get the support for Google Daydream VR.

Getting the support for Daydream VR means that you can use the Daydream VR headset, which is available for $79 in the US and for 6,500 Indian rupees in India to play virtual reality games, and to experience the immersive world of Virtual reality.
