Samsung Australia has opened pre-registrations for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is scheduled to launch on August 23. The page allows you to register yourself in-order to get updated about the note 8, you will also have to select your current device as well as the Carrier you are currently with.
The teaser image shows that the phablet will have a bezeless display wrapping around the edges of the device. The tagline on the teaser image “Do bigger things” suggests that the device will have a bigger screen than the Samsung S8 plus.
The device is expected to have a 6.3inch or 6.4inch Infinity display with 18:5:9 ratio, Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory expandable via a microSD card slot.
Coming to the camera the note 8 is expected to have a dual camera setup on the back (13MP monochrome+13MP RGB) along with a 3,500mAh battery.
As the device is a part of the note series it will be having the S-Pen and is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box with the final version of Bixby, Samsung’s personal assistant which was announced along with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus.
The device is expected to come with a price tag of $900 in the US and for a price of £1000 in Europe.
