Sharp, who was the first company in the world to introduce a bezeless phone is now back with their new bezeless smartphone the Sharp Aquos S2. The device was announced recently at a launch event in Beijing.
The device is having a 5.5inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2040 pixels. The device comes in two variants –
- The lower-end variant comes with Snapdragon 630 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
- The higher-end variant runs on the Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Coming to the camera the Aquos S2 is having a dual camera setup (12MP+8MP) on the back and an 8MP front camera.
In terms of the looks and the design the device is a mixture of the Essential phone and the leaks of the iPhone 8. The Sharp Aquos S2 is having 87.5% of screen-to-body ratio beating the Samsung Galaxy S8+ by 3.5%.
The device will be available in China from 14th August. The lower-end version of the device will be available for almost $372 while the higher-end variant will be available for a price of $520.
